About

My Story

I grew up in Toledo, Ohio and graduated high school in 2002. In 2003, I attended Lee University in Tennessee working towards a Communications degree. After 2 years of college, I met my wife and had a great job opportunity present itself, which led me to temporarily pause my higher education path and hit the work force. I was hired by a homebuilder and real estate company in metro Atlanta as an intern marketing assistant. Four years later, I became the Marketing Manager and Media Marketing Director (after working in several other marketing roles).

Kevin-Webb-Marine-CorpsWhile I loved marketing, graphic design, project management, and website design, I had always felt a call to serve in the United States Armed Services. In 2009, I joined the United States Marine Corps Reserves as an Intelligence Analyst.

After graduating from Marine Corps basic training and Marine Combat Training, I left to attend the Navy and Marine Corps School of Intelligence, where I graduated as the class leader with a 4.0 GPA. After graduating all of my initial schools, I returned home to Columbus, Georgia. In 2019, I made a military career lateral move and completed a 5-month Geospatial Intelligence School to become an Imagery Analyst.

In the last few years I have also completed an Associate’s Degree in Counter-Terrorism and a Bachelor’s Degree in Homeland Security.

I presently work for Path-Tec, where I have been the Marketing Manager for the last 7 years.

What Sets Me Apart?

I am an ambitious individual that has a tenacious desire to succeed in whatever I do, and I am confident that my employers, peers, friends, and family would testify to that. My career is peppered with opportunities that I was ‘thrown into’ because they needed somebody to figure something out, learn something new, or fix something that was broken. My ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions for business obstacles has always been a large part of what makes me a valued employee. I have a strong desire to learn new things.

One of the unique things that sets me apart in the world of marketing is that I started at the bottom, literally digging holes installing marketing signs. From there I went on to become proficient in virtually every aspect of marketing, to include planning, market research, website development, graphic design, SEO/SEM, print media, content creation, trade shows, ecommerce, and more. All of this was geared toward the goal of driving brand engagement, generating leads, and ultimately increasing sales. This gives me a unique perspective because I understand, from experience, the requirements and work involved in a wide variety of marketing projects.

My military career requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Security Clearance, which is obtained after going through an extensive background check. My military career reflects the same accomplishments that I have obtained in the civilian workforce.

With all of that said, it would be an injustice to take all of the credit for my accomplishments. I have been blessed with outstanding personal and professional mentors in my life, both in my family, in the military, and in the civilian sector. Without the willingness and dedication of these mentors to invest time into me as an individual, my success over the years would have been limited. I am extremely grateful for them and it is my goal in life to pay that forward whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Hobbies

I am an outdoor person at heart. I actually love to do yard work, and I thoroughly enjoy home improvement projects. If the opportunity arrives for me to enjoy some adventure, you’ll find me hiking, camping, on my ATV, or at the gun range. I have played basketball since I was a little kid, and I currently run a community open-gym program at my church. Exercise in the form of running, strength training, and cycling are weekly activities as well.

As much as fun as these activities are, nothing is more important than spending time with my family, and having the opportunity to teach my two sons what life is all about.
